The Space

Grown from an art space.

PALMS CONVENE was never conceived as an event space. It evolved over years as a setting for exhibitions, art and conversation: an 85-square-metre main hall with ceilings of around five metres, whitewashed brick, polished floors and large windows, together with a directly adjacent 45-square-metre room and a 20-square-metre courtyard of lemon trees, yucca and herbs beneath a glass canopy.

The character of the space is already there. Rather than providing a neutral backdrop, it brings its own atmosphere to a dinner, presentation or conversation — without determining what takes place within it.

PALMS CONVENE grew out of wildpalms — a space shaped over years by art, books, plants and exhibitions. It carries the same sensibility into private and professional gatherings: considered, distinctive and quietly present.

In Düsseldorf Stadtmitte, just a few minutes from Hauptbahnhof and around twenty minutes from Düsseldorf Airport by public transport. Central, well connected and easy to reach for local and international guests.
